What Does the Reno Valley Assisted Living Option Entail?
We offer clean and spacious rooms, three nutritious meals and snacks provided daily, great activity programming, transportation to doctor’s’ appointments, medication assistance, and quality medical oversight. Care is also coordinated with outside health care providers. Our assisted living community also has rooms large enough to provide quality hospice services.
How Many Nurses are on Staff?
There is one nurse resident coordinator that oversees the quality nursing provided by Reno Valley. Reno Valley utilizes the professional services of Sandi Flores Group, which is a nurse consultant team. While they are not on-site, they are available to assist and inform our team about issues beyond our scope. They are great for second opinions and counseling. We also have two “house doctors” – Dr. Denver Miller and Dr. Steve Erikson.
Dr. Miller is a Geriatric Medicine Specialist with over 35 years of experience and Dr. Steve Erikson specializes in internal medicine – geriatrics. Every two weeks, they both make their way to our building to do house visits for all residents who are under their care.
How is Medication Managed?
Residents have their medications monitored and provided daily by certified medication technicians. Residents can also keep and manage their own medications in their rooms if their doctor and the community’s executive director approve.
Do You Offer Memory Care Services?
Not at this time. We can handle the early stages of dementia, so long as the resident isn’t at risk of wandering.
Do Floor Plans Differ between Assisted Living and Retirement Living?
No, both are essentially the same – please check the floor plans for more details.
